Bicycle MP3 Player

Hammacher Schlemmer today launched a digital audio player made explicitly for cyclists. The Bicycle MP3 Player mounts to the 1-inch tube frame standard on most bicycles and gives riders a way to easily control and play their music while moving. The unit includes built-in stereo speakers to let the cyclist listen to music without the potentially dangerous isolation of headphones. Built-in storage is limited to 1GB of flash memory, but MMC and SD cards can be used to add to that capacity. The player is also independent of its mount and can be connected through USB to transfer music from a Mac or Windows PC. Hammacher plans to release the Bicycle MP3 Player on November 30th for $130.
