HANNSlounge LCD TV

Hannspree, a company mostly known for making TVs aimed at children, has begun producing a more "mature" LCD line called HANNSlounge. Sets should soon be available in 26-, 32-, and 37-inch sizes. Each model is surrounded by a false mahogany frame, at the sides of which are chrome-finish supports that eliminate the need to hang or otherwise anchor the TV. Each display is also capable of resolutions up to 1080i, but only the 32- and 37-inch sets have 1200:1 contrast, 8ms response times, and six-in-one card slots that support CF, SD, Memory Sticks and more. The 26-inch model has 16ms response and 600:1 contrast. Pricing and release dates for the HANNSlounge line have yet to be announced.
