Dell adds Sprint broadband


Dell has announced that as of today, some of its laptops are offering Sprint Mobile Broadband support built in. The XPS M1210, the Precision M65, and the D420, D620, and D820 Latitude systems all have the Dell Wireless 5700-S EVDO card as an option. EVDO allows a laptop to connect without Ethernet or WiFi; in the the case of SMB, however, users must be within one of 220 cities or 486 airports in the United States. The card costs $179 and SMB service is $60 a month with a two-year subscription.
