Making its last introduction of the year, i-Station late Friday revealed its Mini DX pocket media player. The DX is an upgrade to the company's original Mini that adds an FM tuner, USB host support for direct data transfers, and a microSD card slot to add as much as 2GB more storage to the built-in flash memory. Other features of the Mini remain as diverse as before, with support for video through either MPEG-4/WMV files or Korea's DMB mobile TV standard as well as playback of more exotic audio formats such as FLAC and OGG. Versions with 1GB ($213) or 2GB ($267) of internal flash are shipping now in black and white colors. A 4GB version is known to be in development but has yet to receive an official price.
