LG Shine TV Phone

LG this morning added to its rapidly expanding Shine phone lineup with two models for avid TV viewers. Both the Shine TV and Shine Folder TV add support for Korea's homegrown T-DMB standard for watching digital broadcasts on the road; each stows a compact aerial inside its body but keeps its earlier dimensions. The two also feature the same 2-megapixel camera and 2.2-inch main display of the original, with the Folder also gaining a 1.1-inch external LCD.

Memory is the only key difference outside of design, LG proudly notes: the Folder comes with 512MB built-in, while the Slider makes up for the lack of a second screen with 1GB of storage. The firm expects to sell the Folder for the equivalent of $531 and will offer it through the Korean carriers SK Telecom, KTF, and LG Telecom as the SB630, KB6300, and LB6300 respectively; the Slider will be available only through LG Telecom as the LB2500 for a similar price. Releases in other areas haven't been confirmed.
