AT&T int'l. data plans

Continuing its PR assault, AT&T has made a second announcement to describe changes to its international data plans. Costing between $45 and $70 a month, the plans now provide for 20MB of included transfer in close to 30 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, India and Mexico. Per-kilobyte rates still apply to other countries, or when the 20MB cap is exceeded; service in the United States is unlimited. Supported networks (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS) are only available depending on the region however, and AT&T has a specific list of compatible phones, including the likes of the Samsung BlackJack, the Cingular 3125 and 8525, and Palm's Treo 680 and 750.
