Xbox 360 Elite early?

The forthcoming Elite, a deluxe version of Microsoft's Xbox 360 console, may already be arriving at some stores, reports suggest. At the center of the news is an eBay listing, auctioning an Elite purchased at a Target for $480. The remarkable point is that the Elite is not scheduled to ship until April 29th, over a week and a half from today -- a considerable rules breach in the retail market. This suggests that prospective buyers may want to contact their own local retail stores, as the consoles may otherwise be in short supply by their official launch. [via Joystiq]
