HTC Elf and Kaiser Photos

Photos have surfaced today which show HTC's future Elf and Kaiser in complete detail. Having changed slightly from its initial appearance, the Elf (shown in main photo) now adopts an iPod-like white and pushes simplicity over sheer features: a 2.8-inch touchscreen is the near-exclusive control method that replaces both a number pad and a keyboard. A 2-megapixel camera has been newly confirmed as part of the device, though Internet will be relatively modest with EDGE Internet in North America and UMTS in Europe.

While more of its details have already been revealed, images of the Kaiser suggest that early previews are correct, including the phone's trademark tilting, sliding keyboard and that the phone will come prepped for Windows Mobile 6. No changes have been mentioned for the phone's 3-megapixel camera or the inclusion of 3G wireless Internet.

The Kaiser's release date is unconfirmed, but should follow closely with the Elf, which in reports is now slated to appear no later than June and potenially later in the month. [via newsmobile and PDAMobiz]
