Moto LAZR V9m Leak
Motorola's "monster" phone may be its long-awaited direct sequel to the RAZR, based on new photos and their accompanying details. Known alternately as the LAZR or V9m, the new clamshell has received more info since its first leak and promises to be one of the company's more advanced devices to date. The extremely large external display will have a touchscreen interface that lets owners check e-mail, play music, or other features without having to flip open the shell. Its interface will also be vivid through the use of Adobe Flash.
While specs for the camera and other aspects are unknown, the source for the latest leak points to the V9m debuting in a CDMA edition, which will most likely appear first with Verizon (potentially with the V9c name) given images that show conspicuous company branding on the outside screen.
Pricing hasn't surfaced alongside the new device, but an official announcement with greater details may come as soon as tomorrow, when Motorola has scheduled a morning hardware announcement for the device hinted at last week. [via Phone News]
