Diamond Radeon HD 2900 1GB

Diamond today became the first card maker to launch a 1GB version of AMD's newest Viper Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB doubles the 512MB memory of the reference card while also speeding its clock rates: the 1.1GHz of graphics-oriented GDDR4 memory sends more information per cycle, while the 825MHz core also speeds up general performance compared to the 740MHz of the original. This makes it the fastest video card available today, Diamond claims. Other features, such as the wide 512-bit bus and support for up to 24X antialiasing, carry forward from the 512MB edition.

Diamond keeps the dual, dual-link DVI outputs of the reference board but includes HDMI support through an optional adapter. Pricing for the card as a stand-alone device hasn't been provided. The company indicates, however, that the 1GB card is available today as a system option from several American and Canadian PC builders.

The company today has also revealed a slew of mainstream-focused Radeon HD 2600 and 2400 cards, split into its Viper and Stealth lines respectively; the HD 2600 cards range from a 256MB Pro version on the legacy AGP bus to a 512MB Radeon HD 2600 XT using PCI Express, while the 2400 series is available in 256MB 2400 Pro and budget 2400 LE versions, both for PCI Express. Their pricing is also unavailable.

The W910 uses the usual D-pad controls, nothing special.

The W960 would be about as direct as you could get, I think. 8GB, Wi-Fi, touchscreen music phone? That's the iPhone in a nutshell.
