Kingston DTII Plus Migo

Kingston has released a new USB flash drive, an 8GB variant of the DataTraveler II Plus Migo Edition. The Migo software synchronizes with a user's e-mail and web-browsing settings, allowing it to carry cookies, bookmarks and other important information to other computers and keep it consistent; a recent addition is the "Universal Mail Format," which lets users access messages with multiple clients including Outlook and Windows Mail. Supported Non-Microsoft software is limited to v1.5+ of Mozilla's Firefox and Thunderbird.

The drive runs on Windows 2000, XP SP 1 and Vista systems, and connnects to Exchange and other POP3/SMTP e-mail servers; locally, however, it cannot be used as a ReadyBoost drive to assist performance on Vista machines. Kingston is now selling the 8GB DataTraveler II Plus Migo for $154.
