Sony crafting motion-sensitive Walkman?

Sony Rolly Rumor

Sony is developing a new class of Walkman music player that could be released very soon, claims one Belgian site. Nicknamed the "Rolly," the described player would be designed for partying with an easily-gripped egg shape, a built-in speaker, and a 'choreography' system that likely relates to changing lights or music in time with movement. Whether this borrows technology from the S2 Sports is unclear. A video from DailyMotion (since removed, pictured) of the French house group Justice briefly showed the player in action, the site claims, though follow-up examinations of videos available elsewhere fail to show the device.

A release date was not part of the leak, but Sony is known to be presenting new devices at Berlin's IFA expo by the end of the month and may include the final version of the Rolly, which would be ready for sale by the holidays. Sony has largely updated its Walkman line in Europe and abroad, with the most recent release being the B100 drag-and-drop jukebox.

    wow, like cool!

so i can take this thing to a party, stand on a table, wave my arms around with a thingie that changes colors and plays annoying house music at the same time?

its a glorified glow-stick! who doesnt want one of these things? i prefer the oldschool 99 cent version though.
