Dell readies display with built-in cam

Dell is readying the SP2008WFP, a new 20-inch display that packs a 2 megapixel still / VGA video webcam (fixed focus) with a built-in array microphone, similar in form and function to the iSight displays built into Apple's iMac, MacBook and MacBook Pro. The monitor also sports a 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution with a 2ms response time, 300cd/m2 brightness, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Connectivity includes DVI with HDCP, VGA, (4) USB 2.0. There's also an optional soundbar. The display will be released on September 12th, but pricing information has not been disclosed. [via Engadget]
