Samsung Beat for T-Mobile

T-Mobile is planning to carry a second media-savvy Samsung phone just weeks after the launch of the Blast, says a newly leaked spec sheet. The Beat would drop the slider form and keys in favor of a flip-phone design with a conspicuous music control scheme; users could scroll through and skip tracks on the outside color display without having to open the device. A 1.3-megapixel camera is also certain to be onboard, as would be a microSD slot for music storage.

Little else is known at this stage, though the Beat is liable to include Bluetooth and Internet access over EDGE networks. T-Mobile plans to include myFaves calling network support and will ship the Samsung handset later this month. Costs for the phone and its exact release date are unknown. [via BGR]
