Verizon U700, U900 photos
New photos have emerged of the Samsung U700 and U900, showing rebranding of the phones for Verizon Wireless. The U700 is expected to be released for the network in September or October, and should have features such as a two-megapixel camera and microSD storage, as well as front-side, touch-sensitive music controls. There is no suggestion yet that the Verizon phone will carry 7.2Mbps HSDPA, like its Korean equivalent.
The U900 is tapped for release by the end of 2007, and will highlight a three-megapixel autofocus camera, complete with flash and an automatic lens cover. The display, meanwhile, can be rotated 180 degrees to make for more compact shooting. microSD and touch-sensitive music controls round out the phone, which should be sold in red or black.
