Specs, photos for RIZR Z10

Just hinted at last week in an alleged O2 teaser, Motorola has confirmed the existence of the RIZR Z10, an improvement on the existing Z8. While it marks a cosmetic shift from green accents to silver, the biggest change is internal, a move from a two-megapixel camera to one with 3.2 megapixels plus autofocus and flash. An HSDPA receiver should allow broadband up to speeds of 3.6Mbps, with GPRS and EDGE serving as fallbacks.

The phone has 90MB of internal storage augmented by a microSD slot, though Motorola has not said whether it will continue to support microSDHC. Regardless, every other important feature should carry over, such as a VGA front camera and the ability to record 30fps QVGA video. The 2.2-inch screen supports up to 16 million colors, and local connection options include miniUSB and Bluetooth with A2DP stereo. The Z10 should begin shipping in the fourth quarter, at a price of €400 ($554) without a contract. [via Unwired View]
