Vista DreamScene

Microsoft today finally announced the availability of DreamScene, the long-delayed extra for Windows Vista Ultimate users. Originally intended to launch at or near Vista's January release, the feature gives any Ultimate owner the option of replacing a static desktop with a looping video scene such as a fire or fish swimming underwater. The feature requires a system capable of handling the extra demands of a large video texture along with the Aero Glass interface and should be a free download for any Vista Ultimate user.

Along with the DreamScene launch, Microsoft has also pointed out that third-party developer Stardock has produced its own set of DreamScene videos as well as the DeskScapes add-on that brings further animation to the enhanced version of Windows. More Ultimate extras in general would also be available in the "near future" to reward customers who bought the premium OS, said Microsoft's Vista Ultimate director Barry Goffe. Their nature was unannounced and should be made public closer to the actual release.

This is the best they can come up with? You can't polish a t***, and certainly not one as big as that.
