Monday, October 1stBenQ reveals slim X735 compact camera
BenQ this morning released the X735, the latest iteration of its thinner point-and-shoot camera series. The 7.2-megapixel camera is 0.49 inches deep but shares the same features as most of the company's newer models, including nine-point face detection and support for SD cards up to 4GB. Designed for beginners, the camera includes 29 different scene presets; normal light sensitivity peaks at ISO 1000 but jumps to ISO 2000 for an anti-shake mode and ISO 6400 for shooting VGA-resolution movies in a computer-friendly MPEG-4 format.
The X735 is based around a 3X optical zoom, Pentax-derived lens and should be available in either black or red. Prices will vary by region when the camera ships to Asia, Europe, and Latin America early this month.
