Motorola basic phones
As a counterpart to the announcement of the MOTO U9, Motorola has also announced several "everyday" phones that cater to simpler interests. The most advanced of these is the W377 (pictured at right), a fliphone which features Bluetooth, MP3 ringtones and a built-in FM radio. A VGA camera is included, as is 10MB of user storage. The W206 and W213 are candybars stripped down to the 377's ringtones and radio, the latter only being available on the 213. Memory is shrunk down to 1MB.
The W175 and W180 lose even the special ringtones, although the W180 keeps radio. Finally, the W160 also has radio, but it and the W156 switch from color screens to monochrome. All of the new W-series phones should be out by the end of 2007.
