Leopard review part one

(Updated link) We start our full review of Mac OS X Leopard by examining the first aspects that any new user will see on first boot: the controversial, new-look desktop and the revamped Finder. Whether Apple's first major change to the front-end of the OS in six years will appeal may depend on your own personal tastes; the Finder, however, is a strong improvement and may be enough for some users to make the upgrade all by itself. Click ahead for the first part of our review.

Well, maybe that's their review..."The finder. They killed it. Its dead. Nothing more there."

Or maybe its "This is what the review would look like in a blizzard".

    GUI suggestion

Apples need to have 2 finders available for use - the new one, and then one for users who are actually using their computers to real work.

    Doofuses.

One finder will do. Maybe just a simple preference though "Turn on glitzy whiz-bang features that hinder usability but looks cool" that we could just uncheck. (Or, even easier, like some stereos and other devices, have a "Demo mode" option).

And maybe Apple's idea on the dock was to so s**** it up in Leopard so they could laugh at the people who used to say "The dock sucks! It needs to be changed, big time!" and now say "I didn't think the dock could be any worse, but, geesh. Apple, please, just give us back the old dock! We'll stop complaining about it! We promise!"

    Re: complaints

Hey, I didn't say I would stop complaining. I was talking about those who complained about the dock (I never had too much problems with it, except for some things it won't let you do).

Sorry for the confusion and getting your hopes up too high.
