More Nokia N82 details
Although an official announcement has missed a predicted November 2nd date, one website appears to have confirmed the existence of the Nokia N82 through a brief hands-on experience. The phone is indeed a candybar phone, unlike its N81 sibling, and is centered around a five-megapixel camera with autofocus, xenon flash and a Carl Zeiss lens, complete with a cover. Connection options should also be plentiful, including Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and an unspecified form of 3G broadband.
While external storage options are unknown, the N82 should have approximately 120MB of RAM and 132MB of ROM, and come loaded with software for N-Gage gaming and the Nokia Music Store. An unusual feature is the inclusion of out-of-the-box screen rotation, which unlike even the iPhone, can be used at any screen, including the main menu or during a game. Once again mirroring the N81, a dedicated button takes users straight to the phone's media gallery. No new release information has been published. [via Symbian Freak]
