17" widescreen frame ships

PhotoVu today unveiled its latest wireless digital picture frame, the PV1765w. The frame contains a 17-inch widescreen LCD panel display in a 16:10 wide format, which is capable of displaying photos taken from high resolution digital cameras. Digital picture frames simulate standard picture frames to display photographs or to act as an advertising medium, but are able to cycle through thousands of photos which show up on the liquid crystal display within the frame. PhotoVu's 17-inch widescreen digital picture frames are priced from $700.

"This is clearly a premium digital picture frame at a very affordable price, making a PhotoVu the perfect gift for the 2007 holiday season" said Mark Van Buskirk, a partner of PhotoVu. "And our new PV1765w still includes all of the industry leading features and customization options that PhotoVu is well known for."

All PhotoVu digital picture frames require no additional image manipulation or software installation to display photo collections organized with photo management software like Picasa and Apple's iPhoto. User scan also opt for a removable USB hard drive or USB flash drive for stand-alone operation.
