Nextlink Invisio G5
Nextlink has just released the Invisio G5, claiming it to be the world's smallest Bluetooth headset and also one of the most unique. At a weight of about 0.25 ounces, the piece is light enough to only just be noticeable and is small enough to avoid being intrusive. It should also be more comfortable than most such earpieces for long stretches of time, Nextlink says. An unusual earbud implementation known as Soft Sprung designed to stay in place without exerting much force on the wearer's ear canal.
Battery life for the stand-alone G5 is short at 4 hours but is backed by a travel case that doubles as a charger; when both are fully charged, the headset lasts for about twenty hours of active talk, the company says. It should work with any device that supports Bluetooth's hands-free calling profile and is already available in the UK for the equivalent of $163. [via CNET UK]

For cryin' out loud, MacNN, did you actually just use the phrase "most unique?" Duh. Hire an editor. Really.

from the photo, Id say that Apple's headset is smaller, considerably.

Actually, I've got one of these (it was on sale in a Carephone Warehouse in London when I bought my iPhone). It is smaller than the Apple headset, and I very much like how the "spring" works to keep it in my ear (well, it hasn't fallen out yet). I dunno about "comfortable for long stretches of time", my ear did get a bit sore after wearing it for a couple of hours. Sound is good, and pairing with my iPhone went smoothly. One thing I really like: the "I'm active" blinking LED is on the inside of the unit, so you look less like a Borg when walking down the street.
