Moto Nokia Verizon Leaks

Verizon plans to carry at least three new unannounced phones which both have designer looks but a budget focus, says a leak from an "agent" in contact with Phone Arena. A Motorola phone, the W755 (pictured) will aim to bring some of Motorola's higher-end music phone features to a budget device, with touch-sensitive external music controls like the KRZR; it will also have a chrome trim like that of the RAZR2 and a notebook-like hinge similar to the flip version of the LG Shine. It should also bring a 1.3-megapixel camera, 80MB of memory, Bluetooth, and EVDO Internet access.

Two Nokia phones will also be making a rare appearance at Verizon, the tip reveals. The Nokia 2605 clamshell will share the same "seamless" hinge as the 3555 for AT&T but aimed at frugal buyers with basic RTT cellular Internet access, VGA camera and 25MB of memory; a sibling model, the 7205, will adopt an unusual cross-shaped directional pad like the Toshiba Gigabeat and upgrade to EVDO Internet access along with a 2-megapixel camera, a larger 180MB of memory, and a microSD slot for more content.

No release dates or prices have been given for the devices, which will likely depend on formal announcements by both Motorola and Nokia before the phones are available on the American provider's service.
