Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP
Dell has begun selling the UltraSharp 2408WFP, its newest LCD monitor. The screen is a companion to the 3008WFP, and is only the second model from Dell to support DisplayPort technology. DisplayPort is a simpler kind of video input that should eventually replace DVI and VGA, and possibly HDMI in some cases, due to an absence of licensing fees. The 2408 in fact supports all of the above connections, as well as component, S-Video and composite inputs.
The 2408 shrinks down in size to 24 inches, but retains a native 1920x1200 resolution, and sports a 6ms response time with a 3,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. TrueColor technology is said to enable a 110 percent color gamut, a feature that may be of most importance to photographers, illustrators and other visual artists. Dell is shipping the 2408WFP now for $699.

Good looking
I hate to say it, but that's a pretty nice looking monitor with good specs and at a decent price.
The big question is how to remove the hideous DELL logo from the front bezel.
Hammer and chisel. Xacto knife? Sandpaper? Melt it off?
