MobiTV and HowardForums have ended their dispute over Sprint TV feeds without incident, according to a new updated from the forum owner, Howard Chui. After discussing the issue, MobiTV president Paul Scanlan has revealed that his company never intended to shut down the site over the offending forum post, which revealed that MobiTV's cellphone video streams were broadcast unprotected. The goal was only to safeguard the content out of a formal responsibility to Sprint and other firms, according to Scanlan.
