Thursday, April 10thAliph Jawbone 2 tips up in FCC filing
The sequel to Aliph's successful Jawbone Bluetooth earpiece is coming soon, according to a new FCC filing. The headset is referred to by the original Jawbone name but represents a major redesign, including a shorter, subtler design as well as a new noise-canceling jaw sensor that shifts from two 'bumps' to one measuring the user's voice, and a sleeker connector used to charge the headset from its special USB cradle.
No clues are given to the new Jawbone's launch, though the timing allows a launch of the Bluetooth peripheral before the end of the year and shows an essentially completed device. [via Engadget]

I've plugged mine in and it seems to have charged (light goes from red to white), but when I try to disconnect the cable, the light turns red again and finishes the charge.
I've gotten stuck with what I thought was a full charge quite a few times before I figured it out.
Also, I threw out the crappy ear hook and slipped a Jabra EarGel onto the speaker housing.
It's SO much easier to pop in my ear, rather than fumble with the ear hook. PLUS one can avoid looking like one of those hyper-dorks walking around wearing a headset all day.
