HTC coming to US market
Mobile device manufacturer HTC will launch a brand campaign later on this week in the US, as the company looks to sell its own phones the country. The campaign should coincide with HTC's announcement earlier this month, which will bring the unlocked Touch DUAL -- a "first" in the US for the company -- to Best Buy megaretailer this Spring. The campaign will not focus on a specific model, but rather the features its devices have come to be known for, including touch-screens and tilting QWERTY keyboards.
HTC said that the campaign will also include TV ads in living rooms, movie theaters and on flights, along with transportation hubs such as airports and subway stations. The company also expects to launch online and print advertising campaigns.
Over the weekend, two new HTC phones were discovered in a posting online, while others rumors point to the announcement of a HTC-branded Android phone introduction on May 6th.
