Motorola V750 PTT phone

Motorola will premiere a new phone with the debut of Verizon's push-to-talk (PTT) service this summer, promotional documents show. The V750 is intended for people working in environments such as construction sites, and as such is designed to meet the US military's 810F specification, which requires protection against elements such as heat, cold, dust, shocks and solar radiation. It likewise has extended battery power, enabling talk-time of up to 330 minutes, or standby of 540 hours (22+ days). These figures do however shrink in PTT mode, falling to 230 minutes and 83 hours, respectively.

In terms of normal specifications, the 750 has a 2.2-inch main screen, and a 1.6-inch external one. Unlike many PTT phones it has a strong emphasis on music playback, with an MP3 player, support for Rhapsody downloads, and a microSD slot that fits cards up to 8GB in size. Other features include Bluetooth and a two-megapixel camera. No prices have so far been released.

It says in the article that the V750 is weatherproof but I haven't seen that anywhere, I thought that it only hit government specs for heat, cold, dust, shock, and solar radiation. I hope I'm wrong, but is it weatherproof too? Because that would be great. And is there any word out yet on when Verizon is getting the Centro?
