Images of a new Helio phone have leaked online, accounts say. Visitors to YouTube report having seen a number of clips of someone demonstrating an alleged "Ocean 2," an upgraded version of its popular messaging and multimedia phone. Although the clips have since disappeared, a lone still from a video remains, showing a device with substantial cosmetic differences. Among these are a new metallic rim and navigation pad.
The phone appears to retain the Ocean's rounded, dual-sliding form factor, although it is unknown if it continues to have a QWERTY keyboard. Visibly on display is a revised dialing pad, with each row of buttons raised into its own distinct shelf. The phone may also have a new software interface, as the still shows an unfamiliar image on the LCD.
