Pantech's DMB TV phone

South Korea's third-largest cell phone manufacturer, Pantech, today announced the newest phone in its range, the IM-R300. The GSM slider's notable features include a DMB TV tuner, which allows its 2.6-inch, 240x400 LCD touchscreen to display over-the-air video programming. An wireless payment feature, called eWallet, is also integrated into the phone.

More common features include a 2.0-megapixel video camera, an audio and multimedia player and 256MB of built-in memory. A microSD card slot offers expansion abilities, while Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP allows users to transfer files or listen to music wirelessly. GPS functionality is embedded, and includes maps. The 3G phone uses HSDPA or WCDMA to access data while on the move.

The IM-R300 is offered exclusively through Korea's SK Telecom network, with equivalent prices in the range of $580. [via Akihabara]
