MacTheme for BlackBerry

Information Appliance Associates has come up with a solution for those torn between a BlackBerry and their Mac. PocketMac MacThemes for BlackBerry gives the handheld device the “look and feel” of the Mac. Traditional BlackBerry icons are replaced with Mac-like versions, complete with familiar colors and OS X style backgrounds. The PocketMac MacTheme is available for the BlackBerry 7100, 7200, 8100 Pearl, 8300, 8700, 8703e and 8800. The company says support for BlackBerry Bold is coming soon. MacTheme for BlackBerry requires OS X 10.4 or higher and sells for $10.

“All of our customers love the BlackBerry,” said Terrance Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance, “but they preferred something that reminded them of home: their Mac. It’s a customer’s Mac on their BlackBerry.”

    Where?

Where is the Mac look other than the background wallpaper? Seriously if you want a device that resembles your Mac then buy the iPhone.

    As ever

    Just like mac-ifying XP, you can't polish a t***.

I am stuck with an 8800 for work, and I hate it. Don't even get me started on the Blechberry "browser." Only Opera Mini makes the internet remotely usable.

    Yahoo offers...

...exactly NOTHING anymore, except for pages littered with advertising, and a cluttered user experience.

I used to use Yahoo for finance, stock quotes, etc... but have switched to Google's cleaner interface, with no adverts. Ditto with webmail, and almost anything else Yahoo claims to offer.
