Treo Pro leaked

Palm leaked a Flash demonstration of its upcoming Treo 850 – officially dubbed the Treo Pro – offering full views of the product, with function layouts and more. While Palm has since pulled the presentation, WM Experts forum members were quick enough to grab screenshots and details of the device, including a top-oriented power button, reset button, and a 3.5mm headset jack, among others. The device features a shiny black finish, and a very minimalist appearance to the overall design.

The interface includes frontal function buttons which seem to be touch-sensitive, a hat-switch navigator, a full keyboard, volume switches, ringer switch, WiFi enabler button, MicroUSB connection, and several shortcut hotkeys. The unit includes Palm's standard IR connection port, and touchscreen.

Details revealed late May showed the then-called Treo 850 as having a 400MHz processor, and around 100MB of memory. The Treo Pro is being positioned to counter BlackBerry's 8800 smartphone.
