LG Prada II in works with sliding keyboard?

LG Prada II Leak

LG is developing a direct sequel to its Prada phone that will fix some of the flaws, says a leak stemming from BGR. The device is still in mid-development but has been spotted in an image with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that would address criticisms of slow typing with the first Prada while hiding the keyboard away to maintain a similar appearance in normal use.

Internal details don't accompany the latest leak, though one earlier listing spotted online would have the Prada II address other concerns about the device, such as adding 3G Internet access over HSDPA, Wi-Fi and a sharper five-megapixel camera. The leak would have LG release the phone in the fall and in time to compete with the iPhone 3G during the holidays.

The current Prada has long been considered the first real iPhone challenger, having been announced just days after Apple's product and shipping earlier. A lack of North American, Japanese and Korean support for the first run hurt its overall reach in addition to slower Internet access.
