Wednesday, August 27thSamsung set to release YP-Q1 MP3 player at IFA?
Rumors on the Internet have Samsung introducing a new MP3 player, the YP-Q1, at next week's IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin. The device’s preliminary specifications include a 2.4-inch display with 320x240 resolution as well as 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities. Apart from comprehensive audio file support, the YP-Q1 promises to deliver a microphone, FM RDS tuner and Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 3D sound technology.
The supported multimedia formats include MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, MPEG4, WMV, JPEG, GIF and PNG. The battery has a 30-hour standby life along with 4 hours of audio or video playback. While no prices or actual release dates have been set, it is known it will be available in white, black, silver or pink.
