Trekstor 32GB Vibez player

Trekstor will soon be releasing a 32GB flash version of its Vibez player, among other new devices, according to DAPReview. The Vibez is currently available in 8GB or 16GB formats, but the new addition will put the player in competition with other high-capacity flash devices, such as the 32GB version of the iPod touch. Trekstor has additionally improved upon another player, the i.Beat organix, which in its 2.0 incarnation is claimed to have a 55-hour battery life. An entirely new product, the i.Beat nova, is a small USB-key type device.

The Vibez player features M3U/WMP playlist support, crossfading, gapless playback, folder navigation, and compatibility with WMA-DRM9 and WMA-DRM10 files. A 176x132 color LCD can also present pictures, and the navigation scrollwheel is magnetically mounted, enabling it to spin. Battery life is listed at 20 hours. A voice recorder can be used to save notes.

The i.Beat organix has an integrated FM radio, and supports SRS WOW surround effects. A two-color OLED display is used for navigation, and shows just ID3 tags, filenames, and equalizer visualization. Line-in recording is supported however, as well as radio recording.

The i.Beat nova is the smallest of the three players, but still features an OLED display, along with a line-in jack for recording, and a built-in microphone for voice notes. The Nova is also DRM9/DRM10 compatible.

The updated Vibez series will cost between $150 and $240, available in 8, 16 and 32GB sizes. The i.Beat organix 2.0 will vary from $70 to $125, and will be sold in 4 or 8GB capacities in black, white, silver or green. The i.Beat nova will cost between $50 and $90, with capacities of 2, 4, and 8GB.
