HTC Touch phones at Sprint
A Web-wide leak showing pricing and availability information for Sprint's upcoming handsets reveals when both the HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro will see release, according to a recent report. The Diamond will be available around the middle of September, while its QWERTY-equipped counterpart – the Touch Pro – will make its Sprint debut on October 19th.
Without a commitment to Sprint, the Diamond will cost nearly $550, or $250 with a two-year contract; the Pro will come in at about $580 and $330, respectively. The Windows Mobile 6.1-based devices feature 2.8-inch touchscreen displays, HSDPA 3G data network access and Wi-Fi modules built-in.
Canadian provider Telus already launched the Touch Diamond in mid August, priced at $350 CAD with a similar two-year contract.
