LittleBigPlanet PS3 Leak

Sony is gearing up a special PlayStation 3 bundle to capitalize on the expected success of the do-it-yourself platform game LittleBigPlanet, a temporarily public listing (now pulled) reveals at French retail chain FNAC. The new bundle would tie LBP to Sony's updated 80GB version of the console, which comes with a standard Dual Shock 3 gamepad and Wi-Fi but not the PS2 backwards compatibility or four USB ports of the earlier 80GB model.

The cost of the system hasn't been published, though Sony's previous Metal Gear Solid 4 and Motorstorm bundles for different PS3 versions have often represented partial or total discounts on buying the games separately. It's similarly unclear whether the LBP bundle will also be available outside of France, though the dual English and French writing on the console suggests a possible launch in Canada and other countries where English a primary or sole official language.
