Tuesday, September 2ndSprint outs two starter Samsung clamshells
In addition to its push-to-talk updates, Sprint today picked up two inexpensive Samsung handsets. The M320 effectively replaces the M300 and carries somewhat more than the basics, including a VGA camera as well as Bluetooth. A narrower and generally sleeker design is also part of the update. The M220 shares the older, oval-like shape of the M300 but pulls the camera to further trim the price.
Despite the cost savings of the M220, Sprint is pushing the M320 the most and is selling it for $20 on a two-year plan. The M220 sells for $30 under the same terms, although its contract-free pricing is lower at $180 than the M320's $220 asking price.
