HTC intros Touch Diamond in snow white

HTC has quietly added a new color for its Touch Diamond handset, according to a Tuesday report on The Unwired. Joining the red backing offered exclusively on Sprint‘s version and the original all-black handset, the Touch Diamond will soon be available in a snow white color. Apart from the new color, no other changes to the company’s best-selling handset were announced, so the same 2.8-inch touchscreen, 4GB of internal memory, aGPS and Wi-Fi features can be expected.

According to the report, the white Touch Diamond handset will be available this October, priced at an equivalent of about $840 in Europe without a contract. In contrast, Sprint sells its red version with slightly different software and specific applications for nearly $250 after $300 in rebates and discounts, although with a two-year service contract.
