MOTOPURE H15 and H780

Motorola on Thursday introduced a pair of universal Bluetooth, noise-canceling headsets with the MOTOPURE H15 and stylish H780. The MOTOPURE H15 Universal Bluetooth Headset features a folding design and, says Motorola, has the best background noise cancellation performance among dual-microphone Bluetooth headsets as judged by independent testing. It will automatically adjust volume and noise-canceling levels as the ambient noise rises.

The flip design saves battery life by turning the device off when in the closed position, while answering calls is done via opening it. While charging, the headset remains paired to a phone and ready to receive calls.

The H780 also features Motorola’s CrystalTalk noise-canceling technology, coupling it with seven hours of talk time. The small, 0.35-inch (9mm) speaker fits comfortably into 90 percent of users’ ears according to Motorola’s testing, but multiple ear cushions for the right fit are included with either headset.

Both models are able to pair up with two Bluetooth devices at the same time thanks to Multipoint technology and support more than 200 cellphone models from 15 brands.

Motorola has not announced pricing for either headset, though the H15 is expected to cost about $100, and the H780 slightly less. Both are due for a release in October.
