Surge waterproof headphone

H2O Audio has unveiled the latest addition to its line of amphibious audio equipment, the Surge waterproof headphones. H2O claims improved clarity and bass response from the 8mm neodymium drivers. Five different sizes of ear inserts provided with the package, which should improve sound isolation and comfort across a wider range of people.

The headphones are submersible up to 12 feet and are compatible with H2O's waterproof cases except the SV series or iSH2 headset. The drivers produce frequencies from 18Hz to 20,000KHz with an impedance of 16 Ohms, which is competitive with products that cost twice as much and don't offer watertight contrstuction.

The 44 inch cord terminates at the Motionflex 3.5mm gold plated headphone jack designed for more rugged use. The Surge headphones are available in blue or black colors from the Apple Store or other retailers for $60.
