Verizon handset leak

As the BlackBerry Storm and HTC Touch Diamond draw closer to a release with Verizon, the company's internal product training schedule was leaked Friday, hinting at likely release dates for the products. Engadget reveals that the list shows over a dozen seminars, including sessions for the Storm and Touch Diamond, showing a required completion date of November 2nd and December 3rd for the two devices, respectively. This presumably puts the release dates very soon afterwards.

Pricing for the handsets is still unknown, as most of the information obtained has been leaked, not official.

The BlackBerry Storm, with its new fullscreen interface revealed Thursday in a collection of screenshots, offers users a touchscreen keyboard designed to reduce input errors through pressure. As an iPhone competitor, it is interesting to note that the accelerometer appears to function with all default apps, something not present in Mail or other iPhone apps.
