Best Buy to sell Alienware

Dell has announced that its subsidiary, Alienware, will be offering a version of its Aurora gaming desktop computer at Best Buy stores. Although the Aurora systems are considered entry level for the company, the particular version to ship to the retail stores will include many of the improved components above the base model available directly from the manufacturer. Best Buy hopes to drive sales by letting consumers "experience Alienware first hand," according to Keith Bryan, director of desktop computing.

The package will include an AMD Phenom X4 9550 quad-core CPU, with dual ATI Radeon HD 4850 GPUs, offering a total of 1GB of graphics memory. A 500GB hard drive has been included along with 4GB of PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM. The Alienware Aurora is available from certain Best Buy stores and the online store for $1,700.

    Alienware Aurora

That's look very nice. Alienware Aurora is a totally new design that uses a compact platform and Intel Core i7 platform to provide a compact, high performance desktop. Instead of using the P55 chipset again went with the X58 chipset and high performance of Intel Core i7 920 which gives a good performance.
