Verizon i770 pricing leaks


Following up last month's leaked photos of the upcoming Samsung i770 smartphone, a late Monday leak revealed the smartphone will also be called the Saga and is coming to Verizon Wireless. According to a leaked image of a computer inventory screen, the handset will cost just under $200 after a $70 mail-in rebate for new subscribers when it launches in stores on December 1st. For business users and online sales, the handset will launch this coming Friday, November 14th.

As per previous reports and rumors, the handset is expected to include a 320x320 display in addition to a touchpad, a Wi-Fi module, and a QWERTY keyboard. The handset will support both CDMA and GSM voice networks, along with EVDO Revision A for data. Windows Mobile 6.1 will oversee the operation of the device, while a 2-megapixel camera will capture photos. Stereo Bluetooth support is expected, while aGPS functionality may also be part of the specs as well. [via HowardForums]
