Dream Capture adds simple recording, sharing, more

The Dream Apps on Monday offered a new update to its video recording utility for Mac OS X, Dream Capture 2.3, providing users with simple recording features and sharing options. This new update makes Dream Capture 2.3 easier to work with in regards to other recording applications, while offering a higher amount of support for iTunes and audio recording. With the new enhancements to the video quality, this version is also supposed to work out some bugs that were embedded in its predecessor. Though Dream Capture is made to support most cameras available on the market, it is mainly optimized for Apple’s built-in and external iSight cameras. Dream Capture 2.3 also offers an automatic image stabilizing platform using technology to that found in Apple’s Shake.

Out of the new features available for Dream Capture 2.3, the main one is the ability to search your computer for pre-installed video codecs, making it flexible and versatile with most recording applications available. Other features that are included in the update are Meta data support for iTunes 8 import, that includes both audio and video files, and increased support for only audio recording when the camera is set to “none”. This new update will be priced at $10 per computer license and provide A full-featured demo for people to try out prior to purchase.

The minimum requirements necessary to run Dream Capture 2.3 is 10.4 Tiger or later.

I downloaded this Dream Capture for trial use, unfortunately its not much of a trial at all. in order to record you must by a license immediately in order to record so basically this app is just to look at thats all. Don't bother with this when you can record using imovie which pretty much comes with every mac.
