Nokia unleashes Bruce Lee edition N96 smartphone

Nokia has recently unveiled a limited edition version of its flagship smartphone, the N96, to commemorate martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The phone itself does not get any unique features, though fans of Bruce Lee should enjoy a likeness and signature of Bruce Lee on the back panel of the handset, along with preloaded rare photos of the fighter and actor. Other included accessories include an action figure of Bruce Lee made by Enterbay is likewise included with the handset.

The N96 sports 16GB of built-in storage and a microSDHC card slot. This Chinese version should include a TV tuner and integrates a five-megapixel camera with flash, a full-blown GPS sensor, Wi-Fi module and dual-band HSPA-based 3G data network access.

The Bruce Lee Nokia N96 can only be purchased in China, where it costs the equivalent of about $1,286. This represents about a 45 percent premium over the regular unlocked N96 handset's price in North America, which is $895. [via UnwiredView]
