iRiver players revealed

iRiver, maker of the SPINN digital audio player with a 3.2-inch OLED screen, will be launching two entry-level players, according to a weekend report. The simpler and smaller of the new players, the T5, is a strictly audio-only player with a simple display that supports MP3, WMA and OGG formats and has a USB port for charging the device and loading tracks. It should be available in black or white and 2GB or 4GB capacities, while its battery life is rated at 13 hours.

The T6 is larger in both physical size and standard capacity, solely available with a 4GB flash drive. Buyers get the same two color options and file format support as with the T5, though there is a built-in FM tuner and voice or radio recording capability. Battery life is also rated at a more generous 28 hours.

Release dates for the players are not known, but the T5 is expected to cost the equivalent of $64 in Europe, while the T6 should be priced at $77. [via DAPreview]
