Telus shipping Moto V750
Telus has released the rugged Motorola V750 flip phone that rated to meet US Military specification 810F, allowing it to withstand temperature extremes, liquid spills, salt, sand, dust, vibration and drops, among other abuse users will throw at it. Apart from its toughness, the V750 sports a 2-megapixel camera capable of capturing video as well as still images and 8GB of built-in memory for users' photos, music and videos.
A 2.5mm stereo jack lets users connect headphones to the device, and there is no Bluetooth support for wireless devices. The V750's external display is sized at 1.6 inches, while the internal screen is 2.2 inches in size and sports a 240x320 resolution. The handset also sports a speakerphone, and the usual array of calendar, calculator, alarm clock and world clock features.
Telus is offering the V750 for about $200 with a three-year contract, $300 on a two-year contract, $350 on a one-year term and contract-free for $400. [via MobileSyrup]
