Archos surprise product

Portable GPS, Internet media tablet and personal electronics maker Archos recently announced it will unveil a surprise new product at the CES show on January 10th in addition to the Archos 7 Internet media tablet already on sale. At the press conference, Archos CEO Ron Ferguson and director of marketing and business development Frederic Balay will make the presentation at the MGM Hotel Towers in Las Vegas.

Apart from the teaser, the company did say it will also show off its Archos 7 Internet media tablet, though it is unknown if it will have any new features than the currently-available device. The Archos 7 sports a 7-inch, 800x480 touchscreen along with Wi-Fi capabilities, speakers and kickstand. Users will be able to download or purchase movies using the device and stream content to it from their PCs. It will have e-mail support, and be capable of playing back videos, music and photos. It is available in 160GB and 320GB versions, priced at $450 and $550, respectively. An optional DVR station lets users record TV to the Archos 7. [via GenerationMP3]

    TEASER?

Since they've already put out this "teaser", can it still be considered a "surprise"?

Well anyway, the suspense is killing me! I hope it's another iPhone killer. You can't have enough of those things.
